Customised Allergen Reports
NutriCalc gives you the ability to create customised Allergen reports quickly and easily
The allergen tab on the reports page is populated with all 18 standard allergens required to be highlighted within your ingredient declaration by law:
Wheat, Rye, Barley, Oats, Spelt, Crustaceans, Eggs, Fish, Peanuts, Soybeans, Milk, Nuts, Celery, Mustard, Sesame, Sulphites, Lupin, Molluscs
The software will embolden these allergens for you within the ingredient declaration but ONLY when all allergen information for every ingredient is complete.
You may also add additional allergen information from the Preferences section of your account. You may choose either “contains” or “suitable for”, and then add the category or allergen of your choice. For example, you may wish to add: “Suitable for Halal” to your list.
Adding customised allergens or other information will not be included in the ingredient declaration for your label because this is not legally permissible.
The information generated may be useful for your customers or suppliers. Retail outlets may create reports for at a glance information for customers with special dietary requirements for example:
‘Suitable for…’, ‘lactose free’, ‘gluten free’…[etc]
The customised allergen report may also form a useful component of your specification sheet for an ingredient or product.
